Repair Intake
Georgia Repair Network uses screen-based intake to collect the contact information, property location, issue category, description, safety indicators, photos, access instructions, availability, and planning budget needed to route a maintenance request.
Please submit accurate information. Incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, or misleading information may delay triage, scheduling, contractor assignment, or completion.
What Happens After Submission
- A ticket is created and reviewed for urgency, category, service area, access needs, and available documentation.
- Routine issues may wait for normal review, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
- Urgent or emergency indicators may be escalated for faster review, but Georgia Repair Network is not a replacement for 911, utility emergency lines, or emergency responders.
- Photos, invoices, notes, completion confirmation, and repair history may become part of the property maintenance record.
Budgets, Estimates, And Changes
Public intake may ask for a planning budget or not-to-exceed amount. This helps classify simple repairs, estimate-required work, diagnostic-first issues, and urgent review paths. The current public intake flow does not collect payment or hold funds.
If a contractor determines that the scope is larger than originally described, additional work, parts, diagnostics, wall opening, hidden damage, code-related work, or safety issues may require a revised estimate, manager/owner approval, or a separate agreement before work continues.
Access And Scheduling
- Provide clear access instructions such as tenant availability, gate codes, lockbox notes, pet notes, parking instructions, or any required presence.
- If the contractor cannot access the property, the ticket may be marked No Access and may need to be rescheduled.
- Missed access, late cancellation, or repeated scheduling issues may be documented in the repair record.
Completion Confirmation
Customers, tenants, property managers, owners, or administrators may be asked to confirm that work is complete. Confirmation may include status updates, photos, notes, invoices, and any known follow-up issue. Completion confirmation helps move the ticket into permanent property history.
SMS And Email Updates
SMS updates are optional unless separately required by a property manager workflow. If you opt in, Georgia Repair Network may text repair updates, photo links, scheduling messages, access coordination, appointment reminders, urgent alerts, status updates, and completion follow-up. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See the SMS Terms.
