Why This Policy Exists
Repair coordination depends on clear schedules, property access, contractor availability, and timely communication. This policy helps Georgia Repair Network document what happened when an appointment cannot proceed and helps property managers, owners, customers, tenants, and contractors resolve the next step.
Customer, Tenant, Or Property Access Issues
- If a customer or tenant cancels after a contractor has scheduled time, the ticket may be updated with the cancellation reason and new availability.
- If a contractor arrives but cannot access the property, the ticket may be marked No Access and may require rescheduling.
- Repeated no-access events may be visible to authorized property managers or administrators as part of customer reliability and operational reporting.
- Any trip, diagnostic, or cancellation fee is not automatically charged by Georgia Repair Network. Fees, if any, should be disclosed by the contractor, property manager, or separate agreement.
Contractor No-Shows Or Delays
- If a contractor misses an appointment, arrives late, fails to communicate, or does not complete required documentation, Georgia Repair Network may record that event.
- No-show, delay, response, callback, and documentation records may affect contractor reliability scoring, preferred-vendor status, backup-vendor status, or future dispatch decisions.
- Property managers and administrators may reassign the ticket when contractor delays create operational risk.
Emergencies And Safety
Urgent or emergency repair issues may require faster review, property manager escalation, utility-provider contact, or emergency services. Georgia Repair Network is not a replacement for 911, fire, police, emergency medical services, gas utility emergency lines, electrical utility emergency lines, or hazardous-condition response.
Ticket History
Cancellation, no-access, no-show, reschedule, delay, and completion events may be retained in the repair record and, where appropriate, summarized in reporting or property maintenance history. Internal notes remain visible only to authorized roles.
